Santeri with class

After months of reading and writing about engagement, video games and methodology (for more detail see previous posts and poster) I am finally starting to plan my data collection in detail. My principal methodological approach is narrative ethnography but within that I will be using interviews, focus group and individual, as well as video and audio capture of game play.

Today I have been planning my teacher interviews – I am interviewing teachers about their concept of engagement and disengagement.  As well as asking open questions about their views I have been wondering about using the following video as a stimulus to those interviews.  If anyone has an opinion or any advice about this suggested plan please let me know (especially if you are a practising teacher).
